Today let's talk about choices. Firstly, there is always a choice and when you are uttering the words, “I have no choice..” you are sorely mistaken and victimizing yourself. Secondly, we choose our thoughts as well and what are you telling yourself? Do you wake up thankful? Do you feel beautiful? Are you taking care of yourself so that, at least, you're headed in that direction? No matter where you're at in the scope of your body, self-love is the key to getting to your goals. No amount of shame or beating yourself up will be a motivating factor in having the body you want. The things you say to yourself are SO important, have you ever stopped to listen or are you playing a negative tape in your mind over and over? A good time to play a positive tape in your mind is during a nice, brisk walk. If you haven't exercised in a long time, try 30 minutes today. Print out some affirmations and reload your mind with the good stuff. We're all human so if you have a negative thought – imagine popping a balloon and begin to think of something else – something that makes you happy and loving. Will you try that today?
