Vision Board Workshop

Hello!

Have you heard of a vision board?  It is a tool to manifest things/circumstances/people into your life.  You take a stack of magazines and rip out anything that sings to your soul.  Martha Beck calls it the " Marmouset Effect," as she was telling at the Ladies Who Launch conference in New York, NY.  I was lucky enough to see the feed from the conference in Seattle, WA.  Anyhow, she explained that when visiting the marmouset section at the zoo if you open your purse just a little - they go absolutely nuts.  If you open it wider - more craze - and if you pull something out of it - look out!!!  That is the feeling you should have when deciding what goes on your vision board. That's where the power is...the desire.

I first learned of vision boards from watching the controversial DVD, "The Secret" and was amazed at the concept.  Being of literal mind, I set out to make a few and ended up with a stack!  Then I began making them for other people - here is the very first one:

Made for Ina as a surprise gift.

Now I've made almost a 100 customized vision boards for friends, family, businesses, and non-profits.  Here is the one I made for CASDA (Center Against Sexual & Domestic Abuse):

Made to empower abused women and children.

I loved doing this so much that I made a business out of it when I was laid-off in September 2009.  Now I'm teaching a class at Art In The Alley so you can make one too!  I can't even tell you how exciting the results are from making a vision board.  I wanted to travel so I made one specific to that, and a few months later, I won a trip on LIVE With Regis And Kelly to Barbados!!  That's just ONE example - learn about many more at the Workshop on January 9th from 12pm-2pm.  You can see my winning video here.
